Job summary

Vincit is seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to join the Commerce team and work across a diverse portfolio of digital commerce customers. You will combine hands-on cloud engineering with problem-solving and customer collaboration, developing and maintaining cloud environments across Azure, AWS, and GCP.

You will handle security, observability, and automation, while supporting development teams and contributing to pre-sales with technical insights. English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on cloud platform experience (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Experience designing, operating, and developing cloud environments, including infrastructure, networking, security, and automation.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code and hands-on experience with Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Understanding of cloud and DevOps practices, including CI/CD, observability, reliability, and security.
• Experience working with customers and/or software development teams.
• Strong communication skills; English is essential; Finnish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Building and developing cloud environments – designing, automating, and improving scalable cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and/or GCP
• Keeping environments running smoothly – handling maintenance, upgrades, patches, migrations, and the occasional production issue when something needs attention quickly
• Supporting development teams – working closely with developers to make platforms reliable, secure, observable, and easy to work with
• Infrastructure as Code and automation – building repeatable infrastructure and reducing manual work with tools such as Terraform or AWS CDK
• Security and access management – taking care of cloud security, permissions, and access controls as part of everyday platform work
• Monitoring and performance – improving observability, identifying bottlenecks, and making sure environments perform reliably
• Supporting solution design and pre-sales – contributing your technical expertise to customer discussions, proposals, architecture choices, and cost estimates when needed
