Job summary

Vincit is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to join their Commerce team in Finland. You will design, automate, and maintain cloud environments across Azure, AWS, and/or GCP, collaborating with developers and customers to build reliable, secure platforms.

Expect hands‑on cloud engineering, problem solving, and active customer interaction across diverse projects, with a focus on IaC and observability. Strong communication in English is required; Finnish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Experience designing, operating, and developing cloud environments (infrastructure, networking, security, automation).
• Strong understanding of IaC with Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and containerized environments experience.
• Understanding of CI/CD, observability, reliability, and security in cloud/DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Design, automate, and improve scalable cloud infrastructure across Azure/AWS/GCP.
• Maintain environments: patches, migrations, production issues.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure reliable, secure platforms.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code to reduce manual work (Terraform/AWS CDK).
• Manage security, access controls, observability and performance.
