Job summary

Vincit is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to join the Commerce team. You will design, deploy and maintain cloud environments across Azure, AWS and/or GCP, while collaborating with developers and customers to deliver reliable, secure and observable platforms.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years hands‑on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Experience designing, operating, and developing cloud environments including infrastructure, networking, security, and automation.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code and hands‑on experience with Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Understanding of cloud and DevOps practices, including CI/CD, observability, reliability, and security.
• Experience working with customers and/or software development teams.
• Good problem‑solving skills and the ability to take ownership when things don’t go as planned.
• Strong communication skills in English (Finnish is considered an advantage).

Responsibilities

• Building and developing cloud environments for scalable infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and/or GCP.
• Keeping environments running smoothly with maintenance, upgrades, patches, migrations, and incidents.
• Supporting development teams to make platforms reliable, secure, observable, and easy to use.
• Infrastructure as Code and automation to reduce manual work with Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Security and access management as part of daily platform work.
• Monitoring and performance improvements for observability and reliability.
• Supporting solution design, proposals, cost estimates, and pre‑sales activities.
