Job summary

Unikie in Tampere is seeking a Senior C++/Windows Software Engineer to join our international development team on a long-term software project. You are a self-directed troubleshooter with strong C++ and Windows experience, capable of resolving crashes, memory issues, and complex integration challenges, and you will share knowledge with colleagues.

This on-site role offers a collaborative, low‑hierarchy environment with flexible ways of working and opportunities to contribute across the product

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on C++ development experience in production software.
• Experience developing C++ software for Windows with user-facing apps or background services.
• Experience with protocol gateways and data integrations.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues using Visual Studio.
• Good knowledge of Git for source control and collaboration.
• Understanding of computer networking, redundancy, and failover basics.
• Experience with virtualized development or test environments.
• Self-directed, independent worker and proactive knowledge sharer.
