Job summary

Basware is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own our AI-native document capture solution, including vision, strategy, and roadmaps, plus the AI processes behind it. You will work with engineering, UX, sales, and customer success across the product lifecycle.

The role emphasizes governance of AI decisions, handling multi-model extraction, feedback loops, and model improvements while ensuring explainability and auditable outcomes across the Basware platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management, with 2+ years in AI/ML products.
• Deep understanding of AP processes.
• Hands-on knowledge of AI/ML technologies and model evaluation.
• Experience designing AI governance and audit-ready controls.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership.
• Analytical skills to measure accuracy and attribution.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy and roadmap for AI-native document capture.
• Lead end-to-end AI process: extraction architecture, feedback loop and training.
• Define ground truth and accuracy measurement strategy.
• Apply Governed Autonomy framework to AI decisions.
• Engage with customers, prospects, and partners to shape the roadmap.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and partner teams to drive adoption.
• Track KPIs and inform roadmap with AI-driven revenue metrics.
