Job summary

Basware seeks a Senior Product Manager to own the AI-native document capture solution, shaping the product strategy, vision, and roadmap across AI processes from extraction to training. You will collaborate with engineering, UX, sales, and customer success through the full product lifecycle to deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience, with 2+ years in AI/ML powered products.
• Strong background in ILM or financial technology.
• Deep understanding of accounts payable (AP) processes.
• Real working knowledge of AI/ML technologies and model evaluation.
• Ability to design governance controls for auditable AI decisions.
• Customer-centric mindset and ability to translate pain points into solutions.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong data analysis and accuracy measurement capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own product strategy and roadmap for AI-native document capture.
• Oversee end-to-end AI process: extraction architecture, feedback loop, training.
• Define ground truth and accuracy measurement strategy.
• Apply Governed Autonomy framework to AI decisions.
• Engage with customers, prospects, and partners to shape the roadmap.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and partner teams to drive adoption.
