Job summary

AFRY seeks an Advisor/Senior Advisor to join its Advanced Automation team, delivering innovative solutions in energy, industry and digitalization. You will work across locations, applying Balance+ control concepts and driving automation excellence in a global, multicultural context.

The role offers a hybrid working model with opportunities in Finland (Vantaa/Tampere) or Sweden (Stockholm/Malmö), and a strong focus on learning and collaboration with top experts in dynamic projects.

Qualifications

Master or Bachelor of Science technology degree.
5+ years in energy and/or process industry with strong automation knowledge.
Experience with APC and AI in energy/industrial process control.
Understanding of power boilers and heat production; main automation strength.
Global context experience with multicultural teams across time zones.
Fluency in English; other languages advantageous.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver innovative automation solutions for energy and process projects.
Contribute to Balance+ control philosophy implementation in projects.
Collaborate with global teams and external partners across locations.
Support continuous improvement of automation and data management practices.
