Job summary

VEO is seeking a technical specialist for tenders based in Paimio, Finland. The role involves designing electrical distribution systems and evaluating RFQs. Candidates should hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in electrical engineering and have experience in electrification or automation systems.

Job description

About the position

In this position you will:

• Act as the technical specialist for tenders
• Pre-design electrical distribution systems and ensure compliance with specifications
• Process technical documentation for tenders
• Evaluate RFQs and estimate required working hours
• Prepare supplier inquiries in cooperation with procurement
• Participate in technical and commercial negotiations
• Cooperate closely with internal stakeholders like procurement, project management, engineering, development and our factory

About you

• You have B.Sc. / M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering or similar and experience from electrification and/or automation systems
• You have experience from hydropower plant environments. Experience from other power plant environments is seen as an advantage.
• You speak and write fluent English. Fluency in Finnish/Swedish/Norwegian is seen as an advantage
