Job summary

Suomen Osuuskauppojen Keskuskunta is seeking a Sales Assistant to work across S-market Pihtiputaan and S-market Viitasaaren teams in Viitasaari, Finland. The role is fixed-term until 1 September 2027 and part-time at 30 hours per week.

You will handle shelf replenishment, cashier duties, loading/unloading, and customer service. Training will be provided and a supportive team leads the stores, Ritva and Mika.

Job description

Primary location: Viitasaari, Finland. We are seeking a Sales Assistant for S-market Pihtiputaan and S-market Viitasaaren teams.

The role is fixed-term until 1 September 2027 and part-time at 30 hours/week.

As a Sales Assistant you will work in both stores, performing various store tasks such as shelf replenishment, cashier duties, loading/unloading, and customer service. You will be supported by the entire team and store managers Ritva and Mika.

Qualifications include previous customer service experience, enthusiasm for customer service and teamwork, a proactive approach to tasks, and the ability to work flexible shifts with extended opening hours. Fluency in Finnish is required. Prior retail experience is helpful but not essential; training will be provided.

Salary is based on the retail sector collective agreement, €13.13-€14.93 per hour plus evening/weekend allowances, with potential for a performance bonus up to €1.50 per hour.
