Job description

Role is a customer-focused sales position at Suomalainen Kirjakauppa in Porvoo. The seller will contribute to active sales, ensure store appearance, and perform daily store tasks. The role involves flexible shifts with on-call opportunities, working on weekdays and weekends, and delivering high-quality customer experiences in Finnish (Swedish and English skills are an added advantage). We value a proactive, enthusiastic attitude and teamwork as well as independent work when needed. The position is part of the Otava group and emphasizes responsibility, quality, courage and closeness.

The salary is based on the shop's collective agreement class B and ranges from €12.81 to €14.57 per hour, with evening and weekend supplements: €4.00/h after 18:00 and €5.27/h after 13:00 on Saturdays; Sundays are paid double.

The role is open to candidates with prior retail and cashier experience who can serve customers fluently in Finnish, with Swedish and English as advantageous.
