Job summary

Job description

We are looking for a positive, service-oriented person who enjoys working with people. We are seeking a store assistant for a part-time position (20-30 hours per week), permanent, with start date to be agreed.

Responsibilities include:

• cash register operation and customer service
• shelf replenishment
• date checks and shrinkage follow-up
• receiving goods and warehouse work
• counter service tasks
• price labeling
• campaign setup
• general store tidiness

A thorough introduction will be provided, and prior experience in retail or customer service is beneficial.

You should enjoy meeting and serving customers, be precise, proactive and reliable, work well in a team and cope with varying pace.

Fluency in Swedish and Finnish is required.

It is advantageous if you have experience in daily groceries or service desk, a hygienic certificate and are 18+ (required for sale of alcohol and tobacco).

We offer a permanent part-time position, 20-30 hours per week, pay and terms in accordance with the retail trade collective agreement, thorough onboarding and the opportunity to learn the entire store, occupational health care and staff benefits, and a friendly, helpful team in Närpes.
