Job summary

Osuuskauppa Keskimaa is seeking a SALES ASSISTANT for the S-market Pihtipudas and S-market Viitasaari teams. The position is temporary until 1.9.2027 and part-time (30 hours per week). You will perform shelf replenishment, cashier work, unloading, and customer service in both stores.

Fluent Finnish is required, and you can work in both Pihtipudas and Viitasaari locations. Onboarding is thorough, and pay follows the retail sector collective agreement with a bonus potential for evenings and

Job description

Primary location: VIITASAARI. We are now looking for a SALES ASSISTANT for the S-market Pihtipudas and S-market Viitasaari teams.

The position is temporary until 1.9.2027 and part‑time 30 hours per week. As a sales assistant you will work in both stores. The workdays consist of various store tasks such as shelf replenishment, cashier work, unloading and customer service. On a busier day you are supported by the whole team and the market managers Ritva and Mika.

We expect from you:

• prior experience in customer service
• you enjoy customer service and teamwork
• you tackle tasks with gusto and handle your duties quickly and carefully
• you want to work flexibly in different shifts – we serve our customers with broad opening hours
• you will serve customers in fluent Finnish
• you can work in both stores, Pihtipudas and Viitasaari
• Prior experience in retail tasks is advantageous, but the most important is the willingness to work efficiently and learn new

You will be given thorough onboarding.

Pay is based on the retail sector collective agreement and depends on years of experience: 13.13–14.93 €/h plus evening and weekend supplements.
