Magic Media in Helsinki is seeking a lead Unity developer to guide a busy game-engine team, own architecture, and drive post-launch features for a cloud-streamed party game.

You will mentor peers, coordinate with producers, plan updates, optimize performance, and ensure high-quality code through reviews and documentation.

This is a permanently remote role with flexible hours, offering opportunities to work across international projects within a fast-paced studio.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience as a Unity game developer.
• Lead Developer experience with a team of 6+ developers.
• Led development of at least one large game title from A-Z.
• Shipped client engineering work on multiplayer or live-based games.
• Strong Unity skills with multiple shipped titles and excellent architecture.
• Mentor juniors and regulars; excellent communication and documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the client engineering team and take over from the original developers.
• Own the architecture and SDK/platform integration.
• Plan and estimate each update with the producer.
• Set up the pipeline, tooling and telemetry.
• Oversee backend features such as async multiplayer.
• Code review and mentoring.
