Job summary

Verne Vantaa Oy seeks a detail-oriented draftsman to redraw electrical substation redlines into precise AutoCAD DWG drawings, ensuring on-site installations match documentation.

You will work largely independently, coordinate with the local engineering office, and receive onboarding and senior-level support as needed. The role offers remote work from anywhere in Finland and a hands-on assignment on a major, international substation project.

Qualifications

• Ongoing or completed studies in Engineering.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and DWG file experience.
• Fluent English for international collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Redraw electrical substation redline markups into DWG drawings using AutoCAD.
• Ensure final drawings accurately reflect on-site installation and changes.
• Collaborate with the Senior Document Controller to follow document management systems and coding guidelines.
• Communicate with the local engineering office to clarify drawing details and technical specifications.
• Maintain and update AS IS design documentation through new construction phases.
• Consult with internal electrical experts to resolve technical queries.
• Manage daily tasks independently in a focused desktop-working environment.
