Job summary

Svartvik Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to lead electrical design for data centers and mission-critical facilities in the Nordics. You will work as the project technical expert, coordinating with the team and ensuring reliable power systems from design through completion.

The role requires strong Revit or MagiCAD Electrical and BIM-based design skills, plus knowledge of Finnish safety standards.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in electrical engineering.
• Several years of experience in electrical design.
• Experience with data center, energy or other mission-critical facilities.
• Strong skills in Revit or MagiCAD Electrical and BIM-based design.
• Good knowledge of Finnish electrical safety standards (SFS 6000/6001) and the Finnish design process.
• Independent, solution-oriented and client-focused approach.

Electrical Designer – Data Centers and Mission-Critical Facilities

Svartvik Solutions is looking for an experienced Electrical Designer for demanding data center and mission-critical projects. In these facilities the power systems are what matter most: supply, distribution and backup systems must run without interruption, around the clock. If you have designed environments where reliability isn't negotiable, we want to hear from you.

What the role involves

You'll be responsible for electrical design on data center and critical infrastructure projects across the Nordics. That includes hyperscale and colocation data centers, demanding industrial and production environments, and other facilities where redundancy, energy efficiency and power availability drive the design. You'll act as the project's technical expert, working closely with the project team and the other design disciplines, and you'll take solutions through to completion independently. As a senior professional, you can also guide and mentor junior designers.

What we're looking for

• BSc or MSc in electrical engineering
• Several years of experience in electrical design
• Experience with data center, energy or other mission-critical facilities
• Strong skills in Revit or MagiCAD Electrical and BIM-based design
• Good knowledge of Finnish electrical safety standards (SFS 6000/6001) and the Finnish design process
• An independent, solution-oriented and client-focused approach

It's a plus if you have

• Experience with international data center projects or standards
• Skills in selectivity, short-circuit and protection calculations
• Experience in multidisciplinary coordination or BIM coordination
• Experience in design management or project responsibility
• A background in demanding industrial or process environments
