Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Ltd. seeks an Electrical Design Manager to lead the electrical design of mission-critical data center projects. You will oversee utility connections, power distribution, backup power, and earthing, ensuring safe, reliable, and scalable infrastructure.

You will collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and vendors to deliver compliant designs that meet European standards and local regulations, while supporting fast-paced international expansion.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering with data center electrical design experience.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, redundancy, and project coordination.
• Familiarity with IEC/EN standards; NEC is a plus.
• Ability to work on-site and travel; Finnish language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical design for data center projects.
• Oversee MV/LV distribution, UPS, transformers, and grounding.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, vendors, and authorities.
• Review drawings, calculations, and system architecture for quality.
• Support construction, commissioning, and handover activities.
