Job summary

Bluefors Oy is seeking an R&D Project Manager to lead complex product development and productization within the cooling systems portfolio. You will guide multidisciplinary teams from concept to product readiness, ensuring alignment of subsystems and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a technical background, a few years in project management, and strong communication skills, with English fluency. Experience in cryogenics or related advanced engineering is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Physics, or another relevant technical field.
• A few years of experience in project management, project engineering, or similar technical environment.
• Strong understanding of complex technical systems and product development processes.
• Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to work.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead R&D and productization projects from planning through design completion and product readiness.
• Define and manage project scope, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and risks.
• Coordinate and drive execution across multidisciplinary development teams.
• Act as the system-level owner, ensuring alignment between subsystems and stakeholders.
• Manage technical requirements, interfaces, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support decision-making by balancing technical considerations, project timelines, and business priorities.
• Drive projects towards scalable, maintainable, and production-ready solutions.
• Facilitate collaboration and remove obstacles to ensure smooth project execution.
