Job summary

Bluefors in Helsinki is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Engineering team, focusing on designing and developing products for research organizations and technology companies worldwide.

You will design components and sub-systems for cryogen-free dilution refrigerators, produce detailed drawings, and maintain data in PDM/ERP, while collaborating across engineering, manufacturing and product teams.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering required.
• Experience with mechanical design using 3D CAD is essential.
• Able to create detailed manufacturing drawings and understand production methods.

Responsibilities

• Design components and sub-systems for cryogen-free dilution refrigerators.
• Modify existing product designs to meet project requirements.
• Contribute to engineering change and continuous improvement projects.
• Create detailed manufacturing drawings and maintain design data in PDM/ERP systems.
