Job summary

Hello from Hiab. We are seeking an R&D Engineer, Control Systems for our Demountables division. You will design and develop embedded software for demountable products, collaborating across departments and reporting to the R&D Manager.

The role involves PLC software development, display and camera system work, and creating control solutions based on customer needs. Strong collaboration with external partners is expected.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
• Experience with PLC/embedded software is preferred.
• Knowledge of display and camera systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of PLC software for demountable products.
• Develop display and camera system solutions.
• Create and implement new control solutions based on customer needs.
• Follow design processes from requirements gathering to validation and documentation.
• Collaborate with universities, suppliers and stakeholders on control systems.
