Job summary

IQM Quantum Computers is seeking a Quantum Engineer (Junior to Senior) to join our Calibration and Benchmarking team. You will work hands-on with superconducting QPUs to develop, optimize, and execute calibration and benchmarking protocols.

You will analyze experimental data, identify bottlenecks, and feed insights to design, simulation, and fabrication teams. Senior candidates may mentor juniors and contribute to cross-team initiatives.

Qualifications

M.Sc. degree in Physics, Quantum Engineering, or a related field.
Ph.D. degree or equivalent experience in quantum technologies.
Strong understanding of quantum mechanics and quantum computing principles.

Responsibilities

Perform calibration and benchmarking on latest-generation QPUs.
Develop and improve calibration protocols and optimization strategies for large-scale processors.
Analyze experimental data to identify performance bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
Mentor junior team members (senior level) and collaborate across hardware, software, and system engineering.
