Elomatic seeks an experienced Quality Lead for the Marine Business Unit to elevate quality culture and performance across projects and operations. Based preferably in Turku or Espoo, the role collaborates with international partners to embed quality in all activities.

Responsibilities include leading QA activities, auditing, process development, and continuous improvement, with a flexible hybrid work model and opportunities for travel.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in engineering/quality management.

• Fluent Finnish and English communication.

• Lead quality management activities within the Marine Business Unit.
• Maintain and develop ISO 9001-aligned processes.
• Support project teams in quality planning and assurance.
• Monitor quality performance via KPIs, audits, and lessons learned.
• Facilitate root cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Perform internal and external audits.
• Support supplier and partner quality management.
• Promote a quality culture across teams.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve operations and delivery.
• Coordinate with Elomatic Corporate Quality Team.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Lead to Marine Business Unit to elevate our quality culture and performance across our operations and projects. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our projects, processes, and services meet the highest standards while driving continuous improvement across our global marine business.

Your role and the team

As a Quality Lead, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management practices that support operational excellence and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with project teams, business leaders, and international partners to ensure that quality is embedded in everything we do.

This position is based preferably in Turku or Espoo.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading quality management activities within the Marine Business Unit
• Maintaining and developing processes in alignment with ISO 9001 principles and company requirements
• Supporting project teams in quality planning, quality assurance, and continuous improvement
• Monitoring projects quality performance through KPIs, audits, lessons learned, and corrective actions
• Facilitating root cause analyses and improvement initiatives
• Performing internal and external audits
• Supporting supplier and partner quality management activities
• Promoting a quality culture and sharing best practices across teams
• Collaborating with business leaders to enhance operational efficiency and project delivery performance
• Working closely with the Elomatic Corporate Quality Team to ensure alignment of quality practices, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
• Reporting to Director, Operations in Marine

What helps you succeed in this role

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in a relevant field (preferably in engineering, technology, quality management)
• Experience in quality management, quality assurance, and operational excellence
• Experience in project-based business and engineering environments
• Good understanding of quality management systems and ISO 9001 requirements. Understanding ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and/or ISO 27001 are considered an advantage.
• Planning and problem-solving abilities, and continuous improvement mindset
• Fluent communication skills in Finnish and in English
• Willingness to global travel occasionally
