Job summary

Varex Imaging Corporation in Espoo, Finland, seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer to strengthen the quality team. You will lead supplier quality management for Finland and Sweden, align with ISO standards, and collaborate with operations, R&D and administration.

The role requires a BSc/MSc, 8+ years in quality management, auditing experience, and strong problem-solving. Hybrid work with up to 2 days from home and 3 days at the Espoo office is available.

Qualifications

• Technical background (BSc/MSc)
• Knowledge of ISO 13485/ISO 9001 (preferably 13485)
• At least 8 years in quality management including supplier quality
• Auditing experience (lead auditor training preferred)
• Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset
• Experience with quality tools and methods
• High level English (verbal and written)
• Ability to independently manage the responsibility area

Responsibilities

• Supplier Quality: qualification/re-qualification of critical suppliers and maintaining supplier list
• Plan and perform supplier audits and first article inspections in Espoo
• Coordinate supplier reclamations and incoming inspections
• Communicate with Purchasing and Engineering and other stakeholders
• Lead supplier development activities and document relevant activities
• Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement: lead process development/improvements at Finland/Sweden sites
• Identify bottlenecks, implement actions, evaluate documentation and performance
• Support local Change Management and management reporting
