Job summary

Teleste in Littoinen, Kaarina, Finland, is seeking a Quality Engineer to drive quality follow-up and cross-functional collaboration, linking root-cause analysis with corrective actions, audits and system development.

The role coordinates IQC and OQC, analyzes quality metrics, supports personnel in quality practices, and works with production, procurement, product development, project teams, and international suppliers and customers in a hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• Technical education in production/quality/mechanical engineering.
• Experience in quality, production, manufacturing or supplier environments and understanding of processes.
• Ability to analyse data for decision-making.
• Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent English; no Finnish/Swedish requirement stated.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fulfilment of the quality and customer requirements within the role's scope.
• Handle deviations, complaints and NCR cases, including leadership of root-cause investigations.
• Coordinate corrective and preventive actions and evaluate their effectiveness.
• Develop production and quality systems and carry out internal audits.
• Coordinate IQC and OQC activities.
• Analyse quality metrics to identify development areas.
• Support and guide personnel in quality practices.
• Help reinforce continuous improvement across the organisation.
• Work closely with production, procurement, product development, project teams, international suppliers and customers.
