To strengthen our Sourcing team, were looking for a Purchasing Manager responsible for organizing, planning, and implementing of sourcing operations based on company strategies to join Specim Supply Chain Function in Oulu. In addition of supporting and executing of operational purchasing the responsibilities include proactive strategic purchasing activities. Purchasing Manager has active role in value creation, not only to reduce costs but to consider suppliers cooperation in terms of improve the quality of products, the availability of components and materials, and to enhance company production and R&D. Identification and evaluation of risks related to suppliers, component availability and quality of purchased products is one of the Purchase Managers responsibilities too. To succeed in the role the Purchasing Manager should have fluent verbal and written communication skills in both Finnish and English.
