Job summary

Billerud, a world-leading company in renewable paper and packaging materials, is seeking a Technical Service Manager – Pulp & Paper in Finland. You will lead technical dialogues with customers, coordinate internal experts, and collaborate with Sales, Production, Product Management and Logistics to ensure top performance and strong customer relationships.

This permanent role based at our Pietarsaari mill involves occasional travel.

Qualifications

University degree in engineering or similar technical field.
Experience from a technical, production or customer facing role within manufacturing or process industry.
Documented experience in leading technical dialogues with customers in a structured and confident manner.
Strong communication skills in both English and Finnish, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Managing technical customer issues related to pulp and several paper and kraft grades, from initial dialogue to resolution.
Leading technical investigations, including root cause analysis and gap analysis.
Acting as the customer’s technical contact and coordinating internal expertise when needed.
Collaborating closely with Sales, Production, Product Management and Logistics.
Supporting claims handling and credit note processes.
Building strong customer relationships while setting clear expectations and professional boundaries.
