Job summary

Normet is seeking a Prototype Equipment Electrical and Automation Technician for its Technology Development team in the Tampere area. The role focuses on building, testing, and refining prototype equipment and control systems across diverse projects.

You will contribute to electrical installations, automation setups, and rigorous testing while collaborating with a skilled team to advance mining technology innovations.

Qualifications

• Suitable vocational education as an electrical/automation technician.
• Experience in electrical and automation installations for mobile machinery and/or electric vehicles.
• Knowledge of automation and field bus technology.
• Good IT skills.
• Language: English; Finnish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build prototype equipment assemblies.
• Perform electrical installations (low-current and high-voltage).
• Carry out automation installations.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical and control systems in prototype equipment.
• Handle other tasks related to prototype equipment.
