Job summary

Elusav Recruitment is seeking a Project Planner for a major Data Center project in Helsinki. You will develop and maintain schedules across pre-construction, construction and commissioning phases, and ensure accurate progress reporting to the Planning Department.

You will coordinate with clients and subcontractors, manage milestones, and perform earned value management to support project control and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience planning on large-scale construction projects.
• Proficient with Primavera P6, Earned Value Management, Excel.
• Clear understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing.
• Able to produce programmes from drawings/models/SOW and monitor works.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining schedules for pre-construction, construction and commissioning.
• Reporting progress and milestones to Planning Dept.
• Liaising with client and subcontractors; attending schedule meetings.
• Resource and cash loading of schedules; supporting tender and histograms.

The Project planner will join a Data Center project, based in Helsinki and will be responsible for Developing and maintaining schedules for pre-construction / construction / commissioning utilizing Planning softwares. Responsibilities:

• Responsible for a project or portfolio of projects (regional / sectoral).
• Responsible for all aspects of planning, as defined by the Planning SOP.
• Reporting to Planning Department.
• Reporting to Business Unit / Project Management.
• Developing and maintaining schedules for pre-construction / construction / com-missioning.
• Developing and maintaining progress databases.
• Progress reporting.
• Milestone projections, delay / float path analysis.
• Earned Value Management systems.
• Monitoring schedule performance and productivity.
• Auditing progress on site.
• Attending schedule meetings, liaising with client and subcontractors.
• Preparation of tender schedules.
• Preparation of histograms.
• Supporting weekly workface planning systems.
• Resource / cash loading of schedules.
• Providing data for payment applications.
• Completing contract review reports.
• Responsibility for quality and accuracy of schedules and reports.
• Making relevant parties aware of issues and advising on solutions.
• Recording delay and disruption.
• Assisting in the preparation of claims and providing data for contractual disputes.
• Managing, training, coaching, supporting, developing, leading staff, if required.
• Covering Planning Manager responsibilities when required.
• Covering Project Planner responsibilities when required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience working in planning on large-scale construction projects.
• Be proficient using Primavera P6, Earned Value Management, Excel.
• Clear understanding of construction methodologies and sequence.
• Able to produce programme to plan and monitor the works from necessary information (drawings/model/SOW etc.).
• Capable of managing the planning of large-scale projects with minimum supervision.
• Be highly motivated, a self-starter & able to work well in a team on or your own.
• Ability to work well within strict deadlines.
