Job summary

emagine seeks an experienced consultant to lead governance and delivery of a high-risk AI system project under the EU AI Act. This combined role merges project management and AI governance to shape requirements, controls and evidence through design, build, validation and deployment.

You will translate regulatory obligations into practical gates, evidence models and deliverables while keeping the project on track; on-site in Helsinki 2-3 days per week.

Qualifications

• Experience with EU AI Act high-risk requirements.
• Ability to design risk & control frameworks, not just interpret legal text.
• Regulatory implementation in practice: governance gates, evidence models, RACI frameworks.
• Project management: integrated delivery across business, technology and regulatory workstreams.

Scope: 100 %, full-time

We are seeking an experienced consultant to lead the governance and delivery of a high-risk AI system project under the EU AI Act. This is a combined role that merges two critical functions: project management and AI governance. The role must shape requirements, controls and evidence throughout design, build, validation and deployment. The consultant will be the regulatory-to-delivery translator, converting the AI Act into practical controls, deliverables and evidence while keeping the project on track. Knowledge of the EU AI Act risk classification and the distinct obligations it places on providers and deployers is required.

• Risk & control frameworks: ability to design operating controls, not just interpret legal text
• Regulatory implementation in practice: building governance gates, evidence models, RACI frameworks
• Project management: integrated delivery across business, technology and regulatory workstreams

• Ability to operate in delivery mode owning a workplan, running governance gates, tracking remediation (not only advisory mode)
