You'll be leading complex commercial AI projects from concept to production deployment. This could mean managing the development of AI-powered customer service platforms that handle thousands of interactions daily, overseeing the implementation of machine learning systems for financial risk assessment, or coordinating the rollout of computer vision solutions for manufacturing quality control. The key challenge is navigating the regulatory landscape and cybersecurity requirements that come with deploying AI in commercial environments.

What you'll do

Lead end-to-end project management for complex AI initiatives, from initial requirements gathering through production deployment and post-launch optimization
Coordinate cross-functional teams including data scientists, AI engineers, software developers, compliance specialists, and business stakeholders
Develop comprehensive project plans that account for AI-specific challenges like data preparation, model training cycles, and iterative testing phases
Manage regulatory compliance requirements for AI systems
Oversee cybersecurity implementation for AI systems, ensuring secure data pipelines, model protection, and safe deployment practices
Navigate the unique risks of AI projects, including model bias, performance degradation, and ethical considerations
Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure AI systems meet regulatory requirements
Manage stakeholder expectations around AI capabilities, limitations, and timelines

What we're looking for

Several years of project management experience with at least 1-2 commercial AI projects
Demonstrated experience managing AI projects that have reached production deployment and commercial use
Strong understanding of AI/ML development lifecycle
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks affecting AI systems
Experience with cybersecurity requirements for AI systems
Understanding of AI governance principles
Strong communication skills to translate complex AI concepts for business stakeholders and regulatory requirements for technical teams
Experience with agile methodologies
