Job summary

Academic Work Finland Oy is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead critical data and AI initiatives within the Hydro business area. You will manage a portfolio of parallel workstreams at 100% allocation for three months, driving data migrations, AI deployments, and governance across enterprise IT.

You will work with Databricks and Azure, shaping project scopes and delivering high-visibility outcomes in a hybrid work model.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager on behalf of our client to lead critical data and AI initiatives within their Hydro business area. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of parallel workstreams at 100% allocation for three months. Work tasks

• Lead the Hydro ADP to FDP data platform migration pilot and validate technical feasibility.
• Manage the implementation and deployment of AI-powered applications for environmental permitting.
• Define project scope, success criteria, and deliver go/no-go recommendations to steering groups.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, external vendors, and key business stakeholders.
• Ensure project execution aligns with IT governance models and cyber security standards.
• Oversee project budgets, resource planning, and comprehensive risk mitigation strategies.
• Manage dual-run validation, testing coordination, and formal handover to operations.
