Job description
- Define and implement data governance frameworks and strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring data quality, integrity, and regulatory compliance.
- Advise clients on governance policies, standards, and operating models, including data ownership, stewardship, and accountability structures.
- Establish data quality management practices, including standards, controls, and monitoring across critical data domains.
- Lead the development of data policies, documentation, and metadata management, improving data discoverability, lineage, and consistency.
- Support risk, compliance, and data privacy initiatives, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Act as a trusted advisor, translating governance challenges into practical, business‑driven solutions.
- Contribute to data strategy and transformation programmes, embedding governance across data, analytics, and AI initiatives.

Who are we looking for
- a few years of experience in data governance, data strategy, or data consulting.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a business‑first mindset.
- Ability to translate governance concepts into practical, implementable solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
- Proficiency in Finnish.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in Financial Services or regulated industries is considered an advantage.
