CTS Group seeks a Project Legal Counsel to serve as the dedicated legal reference for a major data centre project, providing legal and contractual support throughout the lifecycle. Embedded within the project and Commercial & Contracts team, the role builds deep understanding of the contract framework and guides leadership on legal matters affecting delivery.

This operational role requires strong knowledge of large-scale EPC and construction contracts, with the ability to translate complex terms

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with a law degree and professional qualification.
• Typically 7+ years of relevant legal experience in construction, EPC or complex engineering projects.

Responsabilités

• Act as the primary legal reference for the assigned project and translate contractual obligations into actionable guidance for operational teams.
• Advise the Project Director and leadership on legal and contractual matters throughout project execution.
• Review significant project correspondence and contractual communications requiring legal input.
• Manage variations, extensions of time, delay matters, change orders and other contractual events from a legal perspective.
• Coordinate with Group Legal & Compliance and external counsel when specialist advice or dispute proceedings are required.
• Ensure appropriate documentation to protect CTS's contractual position and escalate significant exposures when needed.
