Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing or related engineering discipline.
• Background in FMCG, chemical, pharmaceutical or industrial manufacturing preferred.
• Strong project management, problem solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, packaging systems and CI methods.
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint; working knowledge of Power BI.

• Apply TPM/maintenance excellence or EEM concepts where relevant.

Job description

Location: Europe (Remote or Site-Based) Regular travel across Europe will be required.

G2 Recruitment have partnered with a Global Engineering business that specialise within large scale Water Treatment projects.

The type of projects you will be working within can vary across different sectors of manufacturing plants, such as chemical/pharma/food & beverage/processing etc.

As a Project Engineer you will be involved in projects that are for the installation of systems and equipment for things such as packaging lines within the environments mentioned. The role would favour someone with a strong mechanical or process engineering background. All travel/accommodation for European travel to be covered by the client.

Requirements

• Degree qualified in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Background in FMCG, chemical, pharmaceutical, or industrial manufacturing preferred.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, packaging systems, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with working knowledge of Power BI.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Professional engineering qualification (e.g., Chartered Engineer or equivalent).
• Experience with TPM, maintenance excellence, or Early Equipment Management.
• Exposure to process engineering, automation, packaging, manufacturing excellence, or supply chain transformation projects.
