Job summary

Plug and Play Tech Center in Tampere, Finland is seeking a Program Manager to lead day-to-day operations of our accelerator and industry programs, coordinating logistics, communications, and cross-functional collaboration with corporate partners.

You will drive community building, support participating startups with access to mentors and resources, organize signature events like expo and pitch days, and report on program metrics with the Nordic team and global colleagues.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
• 5+ years of work experience in event management, program management, marketing, or startups.
• Finnish language skills are required and an advanced level of English is essential; additional Nordic languages are a plus.
• Required: Strong demonstrated interest in the startup ecosystem and an understanding of emerging technology trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination and execution of startup accelerator programs, industry programs, workshops, and events in close partnership with our corporate partners.
• Ensure all logistical details are handled effectively, including scheduling, communications, and materials preparation.
• Detailed planning of the specific programs (tailored mentorship sessions, selective networking events, specialized meetups) to ensure maximum value for participants and industry partners
• Lead the activities with the support of the Nordics team and colleagues globally.
• Provide direct support to participating startups by addressing their needs, facilitating access to resources, and connecting them with relevant mentors and industry experts.
• Maintain program databases, prepare detailed reports, and manage program documentation (e.g., cohort status, key performance metrics).
• Organize and manage signature events such as our Expo Event, pitch days, and networking sessions. This includes planning and executing events, including but not limited to, managing registrations, setting up venues (physical or virtual), and ensuring smooth event operations.
• Actively engage with the startup community, including founders, mentors, and industry partners. Foster positive relationships and gather feedback to enhance the program.
• Assist in creating the social media strategy and posts to drive visibility and brand reputation in the relevant technology ecosystem.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
