Job summary

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute program strategy aligned to business objectives.
• Lead the cloud migration programs from inception to completion.
• Drive transformation outcomes including platform modernization, application migration, automation, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, technical leaders, and business stakeholders to achieve transformation objectives.
• Manage portfolios, budgets, resources, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
• Establish governance frameworks and drive compliance with organizational standards.
• Build trusted relationships with executives, customers, partners, and vendors.
• Drive delivery excellence using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Build trusted relationships with executive sponsors, customers, business leaders, and technology stakeholders.
• Act as the primary escalation point for critical program issues and strategic decisions.
• Present program status, risks, investment needs, and business outcomes to executive leadership.
• Facilitate steering committees, governance forums, and senior stakeholder reviews.
• Influence strategic decisions and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and foster a high-performance culture.
• Ensure realization of business value, customer satisfaction, and operational outcomes.
• Own program financials including budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and profitability.
• Ensure effective management of program investments and financial performance.
• Monitor revenue, margins, utilisation, and operational efficiency metrics.
• Establish proactive risk, issue, and dependency management practices.
• Lead mitigation planning and resolution of critical program challenges.
• Ensure adherence to governance, regulatory, security, and compliance requirements.
• Support contract negotiations, business case development, and commercial governance.
• Manage strategic relationships with technology vendors, cloud providers, system integrators, and partners.
• Govern third-party delivery performance against contractual commitments.
• Drive collaboration and accountability across multiple suppliers and service providers.

Key Qualities:

Must have:

• 15+ years of IT industry experience with at least 8-10 years in Program/Delivery Leadership roles.
• Proven experience leading large-scale Cloud Migration, Infrastructure Modernisation, Digital Transformation, or Enterprise Transformation programmes.
• Experience leading hyperscaler cloud programmes (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience in cloud migration factories, application modernisation, and data centre exit programmes.
• Experience managing multi-workstream, multi-vendor, and geographically distributed teams.
• Strong track record of delivering complex programmes with budgets exceeding €10M+ and teams of 100+ resources.
• Experience managing executive stakeholders, steering committees, and C-level customer interactions.
• Demonstrated success in programme governance, financial management, risk management, and delivery assurance.
• Experience in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in contracts, budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management.
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, Insurance (BFSI) or other highly regulated industries.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Good to have:

• Experience in outsourcing, managed services, and large-scale service transition programmes.
• Exposure to enterprise architecture, solution governance, and technology strategy.
• Experience managing global delivery models across onsite, nearshore, and offshore teams.
• Engineering, MBA or equivalent business qualification.
• Industry certifications such as PgMP, PMP, MSP, PRINCE2, SAFe, Agile, Azure/AWS
