Job summary

Lokki Henkilöstöpalvelut Oy is seeking a Productization Specialist / Product Lifecycle Engineer to bridge R&D, production, sales and operations in Vaasa.

You will develop productization practices, support projects, and help scale new products for successful business outcomes in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in productization, NPI or manufacturing engineering.
• Understanding of electronics and software product development environments.
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations and order-to-delivery processes.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Ability to define requirements and participate in testing.

Job description

We are looking for a Productization Specialist / Product Lifecycle Engineer to join a New Product Introduction (NPI) team responsible for bringing new products successfully from development into production.

Note! This application is only for individuals already residing in Finland, and relocation is not possible.

In this role, you will act as a key link between R&D, production, sales, and business operations, ensuring that new products, features, and solutions are implemented efficiently and according to agreed processes. You will play an important role in developing productization practices, supporting projects, and helping the organization scale new products into successful business.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the implementation of new products into production
• Develop and maintain productization concepts and best practices
• Support R&D, production, and sales throughout different project phases
• Ensure adherence to agreed business processes and transfer-to-business procedures
• Gather and specify requirements for new functionalities and process improvements
• Participate in testing and validation activities

What Were Looking For

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in productization, NPI, manufacturing engineering, or a similar role
• Understanding of electronics and software product development environments
• Knowledge of manufacturing operations and order-to-delivery processes
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools
• Ability to define requirements, follow development work, and participate in testing (coding experience is not required)
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
