Job summary

Supercell Oy in Helsinki is seeking a Product Lead, D2C to own a single game's direct-to-consumer business, collaborating with leadership to grow the game's D2C success. You will drive the D2C strategy, define targets and initiatives, manage KPIs, coordinate with marketing, monetization, analytics, and game teams, and ensure Store features align with live ops and content releases.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing live game commercial operations: monetization, live ops, or game product management; understanding game economies and seasonal content cadences.
  • Strong commercial and analytical mindset: comfortable owning revenue KPIs, running A/B tests, interpreting cohort data, and making data-backed decisions.
  • Inspiring coordinator: ability to influence and mobilize cross-functional teammates without positional authority.
  • Understanding of mobile gaming communities (creators, Discord, Reddit, social channels) and how they drive player behavior.
  • Operational discipline: capable of managing a calendar with many moving parts and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Experience with D2C or web store in gaming is a plus, but not required if you bring strong commercial and product instincts.
  • Experience running a P&L, leading a business vertical, or managing a smaller game’s commercial performance is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own the game's D2C strategy and growth, including defining targets, growth pillars, and concrete initiatives to move the numbers.
  • Be accountable for KPIs such as D2C revenue share, conversion, retention, and top-of-funnel metrics; review performance with game leadership and adjust based on data.
  • Design A/B tests, collaborate with Analytics to evaluate results, and assess activations (what worked, what didn’t, what to scale).
  • Design and implement the Store offer calendar and the Store offer roadmap aligned with live ops cadence, seasonal moments, and content releases.
  • Partner with monetization to ensure Store strategy is integrated with the wider monetization plan; manage the live ops budget for D2C activations and drive traffic and conversion.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Community to grow Store visits and convert visitors; plan campaigns, freebies-to-upsell funnels, creator activations, and community events.
  • Ensure D2C is part of major commercial moments and embed D2C thinking into the game’s development and design; provide clear, game-specific requirements and feedback on new tools, offer types, and UX improvements.
  • Coordinate with engineering, design, and QA to align Store features and campaigns with release timelines; maintain an inspiring, transparent coordination approach to mobilize cross-functional teams.
  • Write QA plans for Store activations and ensure the Store feels like a seamless extension of the game experience.

Supercell is building direct relationships with players through the Supercell Store and other direct-to-consumer (D2C) products. D2C is a significant element of each game’s P&L, and central to Supercell’s mission to create great games that as many people as possible play for years and remember forever. We are embedding a dedicated D2C owner inside each game team and are looking for a Product Lead, D2C to take full ownership of a single game's direct-to-consumer business. The role sits inside the game team and collaborates with leadership to grow the game’s D2C success.
