Lappset Group seeks a Product Engineer, Playground & Sports Equipment, to join their R&D team in Rovaniemi. The role focuses on transforming concepts into tangible playground products, balancing engineering with project coordination, and delivering impactful offerings worldwide.

You will work in a 10-person R&D team on end-to-end development, prototyping, testing and manufacturing, with opportunities for travel and international collaboration.

Qualifications

• At least three years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, product development, structural design or related field.
• Experience in 3D mechanical design and technical documentation; SolidWorks is primary, other CAD software welcome.
• Project management or coordination experience in project-based environments.
• Ability to independently plan, organize and drive technical projects forward.
• Willingness to work at the Rovaniemi office.
• Good English skills for writing and international collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Design playground and outdoor sports equipment from concepts to finished products.
• Own product development projects: planning, scheduling, coordination and progress monitoring.
• Create 3D models, assemblies and technical manufacturing drawings.
• Collaborate with concept designers, product management, production and prototyping teams.
• Participate in prototype development, product testing and pilot installations.
• Ensure products meet technical requirements, safety standards and manufacturing needs.
• Contribute ideas and continuously improve products and development processes.
