Job summary

UpCloud is seeking a Pre-Sales Cloud Architect to join our international Sales and Solutions team in Helsinki. You’ll bridge business needs with high-performance cloud infrastructure, guiding customers through design, PoC, migrations, and technical assessments.

You’ll speak Finnish and English, present at events, contribute to whitepapers, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape the roadmap. Travel is minimal while you join a dynamic, growing cloud company.

Qualifications

• Architectural background in cloud-native or hybrid infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of IaaS and PaaS.
• Fluent in Finnish and English, written and spoken.
• Hands-on Linux and Windows with IaC tooling.
• Location: Helsinki office.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect robust, scalable cloud solutions on UpCloud's IaaS and PaaS.
• Lead deep-dive technical discussions with prospective customers.
• Guide customers through PoC and migration to demonstrate performance.
• Advocate cloud architecture, security and data sovereignty for EU clients.
• Represent UpCloud at industry events and contribute to technical whitepapers.
• Provide technical leadership for RFPs and RFIs.
