Saga Munkkiniemi offers top-level housing, first‑class services, and active hobby and cultural activities for seniors. Our residents receive help with daily chores as well as joy and company from the community – both from other residents and from us employees. There are a total of 264 apartments in our house. As a practical nurse, your job description includes

responsible and versatile care and customer service work, with the main focus on assisting residents in daily activities according to their needs. You will work closely with other staff, residents, relatives and stakeholders. We orient on‑call employees to our house and our working practices, so that it is nice to come to the shift and you know what is expected of you. You can trust that you can always ask your colleagues for help!

Employment details

The task is on‑call work, and work is done according to the need for substitutions. The work is mainly two‑shift work. We can agree on the starting date with you.

Salary

We follow the collective agreement for the private social services sector. The base salary for a practical nurse, depending on experience additions, is according to salary class G20C 2,527.97–2,758.01 €/month (starting 1.9.2026). On‑call employees are paid an hourly wage and the salary is paid twice a month. Possible shift‑specific additions are added to the basic salary.

What do we expect from you?

• practical nurse education, vaccination protection according to the Communicable Diseases Act and valid medication permits. We also ask to see a criminal record extract in accordance with the Criminal Records Act.
• Language skills: we require fluent Finnish language skills in this position (at least B1 level).
• Work experience: we require previous experience working with seniors. The position requires the ability to work independently and responsibly.
