Job summary

Esperi Care Home Vihtori in Tiuranniemi, Ylöjärvi, near Lake Keijärvi, seeks a fixed-term practical nurse for hourly work until 3.1.2027. The base pay is 14.82–16.03 €/h, with three shifts including nights, starting in August per agreement.

You will provide basic care, support residents during outdoor activities, and participate in daily routines. A practical nurse degree, valid medication permits, hygiene passport, vaccination protection, and at least B1 Finnish are required; criminal records

Job description

Esperi Care Home Vihtori is located in Tiuranniemi, Ylöjärvi, near the shore of Lake Keijärvi, where a warm-hearted group of care professionals work. We live an active daily life together with the residents, and it is easy for new employees to join us.

We are now looking for a fixed-term practical nurse for hourly work until 3.1.2027.

About our care home:

At Care Home Vihtori, we offer 24-hour residential services for the elderly and those with memory diseases, and we have 30 resident places. Our team consists of professionals specializing in the care and guidance of the elderly who work with all their heart. We are located in Tiuranniemi, Ylöjärvi, near a beautiful beach and local services. Our operation is based on a rehabilitative and participatory approach, where we encourage residents to participate in daily chores and hobby activities.

Practical Nurse's work at Vihtori:

As a practical nurse, you create a safe, meaningful, and dignified daily life for our residents through your presence. Your work includes basic care, outdoor activities with our residents, supporting functional capacity, monitoring our residents' well-being, and various nursing procedures. The work also includes consulting a doctor as needed and making medication changes based on the consultation. In addition, you participate in daily arrangements and activity activities together with the rest of the team. With valid medication permits, you also implement high-quality medication therapy.

Employment details:

We are looking for a practical nurse for a fixed-term employment contract until 3.1.2027. The work is hourly (0-115 h / 3 weeks). As a practical nurse, you will work in 3-shift work, including night shifts. Start in the position according to the agreement during August.

Salary:

In remuneration, we follow the collective agreement for the private social services sector. The base salary for the practical nurse position is 14.82-16.03 €/h depending on experience increments (salary class G20C).
