We are seeking a temporary practical nurse for Kuikankoti in Savitaipale. The position starts on 28 September 2026 or by agreement. The fixed‑term duration runs until 11 August 2027. Kuikankoti has 30 permanent residential care places for the elderly. The home is divided into two wings: Kaislaranta and Kirsikkapuisto. The duties consist of safeguarding residents’ daily life, assisting with daily activities, and administering medications. We use LifeCare as our patient record system. The qualification required is a social and health care basic degree (practical nurse) and registration as a licensed social and health care professional. The role requires a valid medicine license from South Karelia Wellbeing Administrative Region. The pharmacy license is provided in unit as needed. The employer requires that the selected candidate presents a certificate of health after 30 days. The role requires vaccination protection under the Infectious Diseases Act section 48. The wellbeing region uses an infectious disease questionnaire form. The questionnaire is completed for all applicants entering patient work or patient training. We require a police background check under the Act on Background of Elderly and Disabled People (741/2023) section 28. The selected person must show identity with an official ID at the start of employment. Official IDs include passport, police‑issued ID card and police‑issued one‑time identification.
