Job summary

Aspia Finland is seeking a Platform Engineer to bridge platform operations, DevOps practices, and development teams. The role focuses on platform engineering, operational support, automation, and developer enablement to deploy, integrate, and operate secure, scalable solutions.

You will support teams adopting platform services, resolve production issues, provide hands-on guidance for pipelines, access patterns, and incident response, and manage GitHub Enterprise governance to continuously

Qualifications

• Solid experience in a platform engineering, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or similar technical role.
• Strong understanding of modern software delivery, CI/CD practices, and developer enablement.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise or similar DevOps platforms, including admin roles.
• Experience supporting development teams with onboarding, troubleshooting, and incident analysis.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Azure, cloud services, security, access management, and automation.
• Ability to work in a structured, service-minded, proactive way with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, scripting, or automation is an advantage.
• Good written and spoken English; Finnish or Swedish is an advantage.
• Relevant education or equivalent practical experience.

Job description

As a Platform Engineer at Aspia, you will work at the interface between platform operations, DevOps practices, and development teams. The role combines platform engineering, operational support, automation, and developer enablement. You will help create and improve the standardized capabilities, tools, guardrails, and ways of working that enable development teams to deploy, integrate, and operate solutions in a secure, scalable, and efficient way. A significant part of the role is to support development teams both when adopting platform services and when resolving production-related issues. In practice, this means providing hands‑on guidance, troubleshooting support, and practical recommendations for deployment pipelines, integrations, access patterns, operational readiness, and platform‑related incidents. You will also take operational responsibility for GitHub Enterprise, including administration, maintenance, access management, governance support, and continuous improvement of the developer exper
