Job summary

Aspia in Espoo is seeking a Cloud Platform Product Owner to own the Azure Landing Zone platform end-to-end. You will translate business, security, and team needs into a clear platform roadmap and governance, working with architects, security, and business stakeholders across the Nordics.

You will lead a five-person platform engineering team, drive backlog management, and ensure secure onboarding at scale while owning GitHub Enterprise as a strategic developer platform capability.

Qualifications

• Experience as Product Owner, Platform Owner, or similar in cloud platforms or enterprise IT.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Azure Landing Zones.
• Ability to translate needs into a clear platform roadmap and backlog.
• Ability to lead engineers with structured backlog management and clear priorities.
• Understanding of DevOps, governance, and developer platforms.

Job description

As a Cloud Platform Product Owner at Aspia, you will take end-to-end product ownership of our Azure Landing Zone platform and ensure that it continues to enable secure, scalable, and efficient cloud adoption across the group. You will translate business, security, architectural, and application team needs into a clear platform roadmap, priorities, and ways of working.

You will lead a skilled platform team of five experienced platform engineers, creating clarity around priorities, backlog, delivery, and stakeholder expectations. The role combines product ownership, technical understanding, team leadership, and platform governance. You will also own GitHub Enterprise as a strategic developer platform capability, driving its adoption, governance, lifecycle management, and alignment with our broader cloud and DevOps strategy.

You will be part of Group IT Cloud and Operations and work closely with architects, security, application teams, and business stakeholders across the Nordics. The position is based in Espoo and follows Aspia's hybrid working model. You will report to the Head of Cloud and Operations. This is a permanent position.

Skills & Requirements

• Own the Azure Landing Zone platform as a product, including roadmap, backlog, priorities, lifecycle management, and stakeholder communication
• Lead and support a five-person platform engineering team, ensuring focus, clarity, and effective delivery against agreed priorities
• Drive the continuous development of platform capabilities, standards, guardrails, and reusable patterns that enable secure workload onboarding at scale
• Own GitHub Enterprise as an enterprise platform capability, including governance, adoption, operating model, and alignment with developer and DevOps needs
• Collaborate with architects, security, application teams, and business stakeholders to translate needs into actionable platform improvements
• Define and improve intake, prioritization, and ways of working for platform requests, ensuring transparency and predictable delivery
• Promote a product-oriented platform mindset that improves developer experience, governance, resilience, and long-term maintainability

What We Expect From You

• Experience in a Product Owner, Platform Owner, Technical Lead, Engineering Manager, or similar role within cloud platforms or enterprise IT
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure, Azure Landing Zones, cloud governance, and enterprise-scale platform foundations
• Ability to lead skilled engineers through clear priorities, structured backlog management, and effective stakeholder communication
• Understanding of developer platforms, DevOps practices, and GitHub Enterprise or similar tooling
• Ability to balance technical depth with product thinking, governance, business value, and long-term platform strategy
• Good written and spoken English; Swedish is an advantage
• Relevant education or equivalent practical experience
