Job summary

University of Turku invites highly motivated Doctoral Researchers to join a dynamic team. The four-year fully funded position focuses on World Model, Human-AI Interaction, and Generative AI research, with collaboration across academia, ELLIS Finland, and industry.

Qualifications

• MSc degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Artificial Intelligence.
• Solid foundation in deep learning and 3D modeling.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Programming skills (e.g., Python).
• Interest in collaborative research with academia and industry.

Responsibilities

• Conduct original, high-quality research leading to publications.
• Develop and implement novel algorithms and models in research areas.
• Design and execute research projects, including generative modeling and analysis.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and researchers.
• Participate in lab meetings, seminars, and academic activities.
• Contribute to teaching activities within related programs.
