Job description

eBrands · Brand Partner Platform · Manager level · Helsinki (hybrid) Reports to: Chief Commercial Officer

About eBrands

eBrands is a commerce operator and growth platform headquartered in Helsinki, scaling consumer brands across D2C, global marketplaces, and retail in Europe and North America. We run execution end-to-end: channel operations, pricing, marketing, inventory, and fulfillment, acting as Merchant of Record and Importer of Record across 50+ brands, around 20 we own and 30+ we operate for brand partners. We sell through 100+ sales channels and deliver to more than 60 countries. Our proprietary AI and data platform, Apollo, powers every decision, and we expect everyone to build with AI as a default tool. You'll work with leading consumer brands, category winners in their home markets, and take them to the world.

We hire for growth mindset. We test, iterate, and scale, and we expect people to get better every quarter, learn faster than the market, and treat every miss as input for the next move. If you want a playbook handed to you, this isn't the place. If you want to write it, it is.

About the role

You run a portfolio of brand partners: the relationship, the growth plan, and how their business performs on our channels. These are brands that already win at home and now want Europe and North America without building entities, registrations and channel teams themselves. We give them the infrastructure. You are the person who makes it work commercially once they're live, and who keeps making it work quarter after quarter.

Technical onboarding is run by our Onboarding Specialist. You work alongside them from signature onwards, own the commercial relationship throughout, and take the partner fully once they're selling.

This is a manager-level role for someone around three years into their career who has already outgrown their title. We are not looking for a coordinator who processes onboarding tickets. We are looking for someone who has personally moved numbers, wants a portfolio of their own earlier than they would get one elsewhere, and is ready to be measured on it. You'll take on the revenue and margin of your portfolio on a ramp, working closely with the CCO while you build the muscle.

What you'll own
  • The performance of your partner portfolio, revenue and gross margin. You know why every number moved and what you're doing about it next week.
  • The partner relationship at every level, from their ecommerce manager to their founder. You are the person they call first.
  • The commercial side of every new partner going live. The Onboarding Specialist runs the technical and operational setup against our 14 to 28 day target; you set the commercial priorities that shape it, keep the partner informed and unblocked, and own the account from go-live.
  • A written growth plan per partner: which channels, which markets, which SKUs, in what order, and what each step needs from us and from them.
  • Weekly performance analysis in Apollo, turned into decisions. Partners get a clear read on what's working, and internal teams get a specific ask, not a forwarded dashboard.
  • Spotting problems before the partner does. Stock gaps, listing issues, pricing conflicts, slipping conversion. You raise them with a proposed fix attached.
  • Expansion inside your portfolio. Healthy partners have channels and markets we haven't opened yet, and finding them is your job, not the sales team's.
  • The partner management playbook. Every partner you run teaches us something about pricing, channel mix or how these reviews should work, and you write it back into the process so the next manager starts further ahead.
  • Using AI, Claude in particular, across the workflow: building and refining workflows, skills and automations, and bringing the team along with you. We use Claude for everything, so we want someone genuinely excited to push how far it can go.
What you'll bring
  • Hands-on ecommerce experience where you owned how a channel performed, not just supported it. Marketplace, D2C, retail ecommerce or agency side all count. This is non-negotiable: you have run listings, pricing, ad spend or conversion yourself and can talk to a partner about their numbers without needing backup.
  • An understanding of how marketplaces work commercially, or the appetite to learn them fast. Amazon, bol.com, Kaufland, Allegro, Decathlon and Walmart are where a lot of our partner revenue sits, so you'll be living in them either way.
  • Evidence that you've personally moved a number, whether that's revenue, margin or conversion. Tell us which one and by how much.
  • A trajectory steeper than your job titles suggest. Around three years of experience is the right shape, but we care more about slope than years.
  • The ability to run several partners and several open threads at once without dropping any of them, and to say clearly when something is behind.
  • Comfort with commercial mechanics: margin, fees, landed cost, and the operational reality of VAT, customs and returns across borders. You don't need to be an expert on day one, but you need to want to understand it properly.
  • Comfortable with AI tooling and eager to build with Claude, workflows, automations and skills, not just occasional use.
  • Full professional fluency in English, our working language across the company.
  • A growth mindset. You raise your own bar continuously, treat misses as data, and improve together rather than defend the status quo.
Worth saying plainly

This is a commercial role, not customer support with a nicer title, and not project management. Onboarding has its own owner, so this job is not about shepherding setup tasks to done. You are there to grow a partner's business through our channels and to tell them honestly when something isn't working, including when the problem is on their side. If your instinct is to smooth things over rather than fix them, you will find this uncomfortable.

Nice to have
  • Direct experience selling on marketplaces, particularly Amazon or bol.com.
  • Experience on the brand side, or working with brands as an agency or operating partner.
  • Exposure to cross-border ecommerce: VAT registrations, customs, 3PL.
  • Additional European languages, particularly German, Dutch, French or a Nordic language.
  • Any experience with HubSpot, ClickUp or comparable tooling.
