Job summary

Volta seeks an experienced OT Systems Subject Matter Expert to own and standardize OT across European and North American AI factories. You will define BMS/EPMS/SCADA/DCIM controls, support design and commissioning, and drive OT cybersecurity with IT to keep operations secure and highly available.

You will lead asset inventories, risk-based change management, and collaborate with Design, Construction, Asset, Inventory and Site Operations to ensure a single OT standard across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in OT and mission-critical environments such as data centres or utilities
• Hands-on experience designing, integrating, configuring and troubleshooting BMS, EPMS, SCADA and DCIM
• Experience implementing OT cybersecurity controls and secure remote access
• Strong understanding of data centre power and cooling infrastructure and controls

Responsibilities

• Own OT system standards, reference architectures and design guidelines
• Review and approve OT designs, control philosophies and sequences of operation
• Lead OT input into commissioning and sign‑off OT readiness for handover to Operations
• Implement OT cybersecurity framework with IT, including network segmentation and patching
• Maintain OT asset inventory and network documentation across all sites
• Provide escalation support for OT incidents and drive corrective actions
• Govern OT change management to protect customer SLAs
• Manage OT vendors and system integrators across multi-site portfolios
• Align OT/IT integration and data flows with Design, IT and Site Operations
• Keep OT standards consistent across sites and ensure training for site teams
