Job summary

Fortum is seeking an Operational Technology Manager to define, coordinate and ensure IT and OT requirements for wind, solar and battery energy storage system projects. The role spans development through handover, serving as the key interface between project teams, EPCs, OEMs, SCADA and IT.

The role focuses on governance, technical execution and effective collaboration across international teams, suppliers and partners, with flexible and hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering, automation, IT, OT or related discipline.
• Experience coordinating IT/OT scope in energy, infra or industrial projects.
• Knowledge of ICS, HMI, SCADA, networks and system integration.
• Understanding of OT cybersecurity principles and asset inventories.

Responsibilities

• Define and coordinate IT/OT scope and requirements across wind, solar and BESS projects.
• Coordinate control-room, SCADA, communications, connectivity and system integration planning.
• Support procurement, technical evaluations, vendor clarifications and design reviews.
• Participate in testing, commissioning planning and handover readiness.
• Monitor IT/OT progress, risks and dependencies; promote standardisation and lessons learned.
