Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a cybersecurity expert to design and implement robust security controls for STATCOM systems in industrial environments. You will apply IEC 62443 standards, conduct vulnerability assessments, and collaborate with IT, OT, and engineering teams to ensure secure project execution.

This role focuses on security infrastructure, network segmentation, and ongoing compliance improvements, balancing customer requirements with secure solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience applying IEC 62443 cybersecurity requirements and best practices across system design, deployment and maintenance.
• Ability to conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing and remediation activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, IT and OT teams to ensure secure and reliable system operation.

Responsibilities

• Cybersecurity Design and Implementation across STATCOM systems in industrial/OT environments.
• Security Infrastructure and Network Segmentation: manage DMZ, AD, syslog, jump servers, firewalls and segmentation.
