Job summary

Prohoc in Finland and international projects is seeking an experienced HSE Manager/Supervisor to ensure compliance with safety procedures, promote a strong safety culture, and support site operations.

You will lead on-site inspections, conduct risk assessments, arrange inductions and training, investigate incidents, and maintain HSE documentation while collaborating with multiple functions to keep everyone safe.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an HSE role in an industrial environment
• Practical experience working at construction or industrial project sites
• Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations, standards, and best practices (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
• Recognized HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH IGC, IOSH Managing Safely, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Fluency in English. Finnish and/or Swedish skills are considered an advantage

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support daily site safety practices, ensuring compliance with legislation and internal policies
• Conduct HSE inspections and risk assessments on site
• Promote safe working habits and lead by example in all HSE matters
• Participate in and arrange site inductions and HSE training sessions
• Investigate incidents and support root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Maintain site documentation and reporting related to HSE
